understanding sanctuary

Zeke is a 165 pound Great Dane with neurological issues.  These stemmed from severe trauma to the head and included a broken nose.  Zeke was being traded around on FaceBook for about a year (5 different homes) before he was purchased by Understanding with the intent of passing him along to the Great Dane Rescue.  He fit in so well with the other dogs that he ended up staying!  Zeke was a big boy at 165 pounds and had a generally happy nature.  He loved a good belly rub!  Zeke stayed with us for approximately 4 years before passing away in 2017.
